Italian Solar Challenge 2011
Solar challenge
On the 31 of July there will be a solar challenge on Lago Grande di Avigliana in northern Italy. The challenges is between electro-solar boats, i.e. boats that use only clean and renewable energy.
Boats will compete in speed, agility, endurance and design. Different competitions will be hosted in front of the main cities on the lakeside. See rules and classes for details.
Organizing committee
The competition in Avigliana is organized by the Natural Park and the municipality of Avigliana.
The main interest of all the organizers of the Italian Solar Challenge is to promote sustainability in tourism and transport over water.

To take part in the Avigliana Solar Challenge 2011 please fill the entry form that you can download in pdf, doc or odt and send it to solarchallenge@ecowiki.it
